Following the introduction of the gluten free food ordering form in May 2013, NHS Scotland has established a Scottish Gluten-free Food Service from February 2014.

You will now be able to get gluten-free products direct from your local pharmacy without having to submit a form to get a prescription from your GP practice.

You will need a registration form, completed and signed by your GP, which you then take to your local pharmacy

Gluten-free products can then be requested from the NHS Lanarkshire preferred list directly from the pharmacy you have registered with.

If you have any concerns or questions regarding this, please do not hesitate to contact reception for more details or discuss it with your pharmacist.
